In his own words Shimon Weinroth died in December 2008. He had been in Israel since the 50's, served in the army; lived on a kibbutz. A biology and educational major, he was, for thirty years, principal of the Bagrut High Schools of Jerusalem. Shimon's poems and essays were published in Australia, Canada, Israel, New Zealand, U.K., USA, and around the world in LadybugFlights. He spent his retirement years with his beloved wife and family and on pursuits in philosophical and literary research at the Hebrew University.
